Silk Care Guide

Hand-Washing Guide

Wash Method: Hand washing is the preferred, safest approach for maintaining your silk garments.

Water Temperature: Always use cold water to safeguard the sensitive organic fibers against distortion or shrinkage.

Detergent Choice: Select a gentle, plant-based cleanser tailored specifically for silk and other delicate textiles.

Step-by-Step Process: Submerge the piece, gently work the fabric for about a minute, and allow it to sit for 4 minutes to help the fibers shed any built-up oils.

Drying Care: Flush out all residue with cold water, then air dry flat on a clean towel or hang it up in a shaded area away from harsh direct sunlight.

Machine-Washing Instructions

Preparation: Turn pieces inside out and secure them inside a mesh laundry bag to guard against snags and pulls.

Washer Settings: Choose a cold water, delicate, or dedicated "hand wash" cycle, and wash only with similar colors.

Drying Routine: Air-drying is strongly preferred, but you can briefly tumble dry on a zero-heat or "air fluff" cycle for a maximum of 10 minutes to relax creases, then hang to finish drying.

Liability Notice: Because silk is fragile, machine washing carries inherent risks. Slumber cannot accept responsibility for any harm caused by aggressive wash cycles, improper machine settings, or harsh detergents.
